Overview:
Summary
The Sr. Microsoft Consultant provides consulting and solutions implementation for software and cloud services within one or more of the key Microsoft solution pillars: Voice & Collaboration, Identity & Security, O365 & Infrastructure, SharePoint & Development, and Azure. The position leads multiple, simultaneous client projects in conjunction with project management, as well as providing thought leadership on the latest technology developments in their area of expertise. The Sr. Microsoft Consultant acts as a trusted advisor guiding clients on their IT roadmap.

This position is for a consultant with specific expertise and experience within the Identity & Security space. Knowledge of endpoint management solution architecture, design, deployment, migration, and troubleshooting is a critical requirement. This includes on-premises SCCM environments, cloud Intune, MEM, MAM solutions, hybrid AD join deployments, certificate services/PKI and familiarity with the Microsoft Defender suite. Microsoft partner experience and FastTrack program experience a plus.

The Senior Microsoft Consultant will be expected to also have background in at least one other of the practice solution pillars.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

  • Learns client’s business, their organization, systems, challenges and goals
  • Participates in, and leads, stakeholder brainstorming, technical planning and design sessions
  • Crafts the technical vision by mapping requirements to technical solutions, communicating through functional and technical designs
  • Validates pre-sales design during design assurance
  • Participates in planning of technical execution
  • Executes design and implementation according to ConvergeOne and industry best practices
  • Maintains accurate documentation and produce project deliverables as scoped
  • Adheres to work schedule and budget
    • Articulates execution strategy through roadmaps, estimates and implementation plans
    • Ensures quality through enforcement of best practices and project governance
    • Builds prototypes and proofs of concept to validate technical decisions
    • Leads by example through implementation of challenging, core components
    • Leads client facing, and internal training (technology training and/or application specific-training)
    • Collaborates as a team with peers on delivery, problem solving, and knowledge sharing


Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works on projects both independently and as a team lead or team member
  • Stays abreast of latest network and cloud technologies within and around technical specializations
  • Provides leadership and mentoring to colleagues
  • Contributes to process standards, practices and templates
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ recent experience working with Microsoft solutions
  • Current Microsoft certification(s) in primary technical competency
  • Proven track record of solutions delivery and client satisfaction
  • Problem-solving mentality and commitment to continuous learning
  • Willingness and ability to leverage internal and/or external resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Technical competencies (One or more)
  • Voice & Collaboration (Teams, Skype for Business, Telephony, Meetings and Room Systems, Yammer)
  • Identity & Security (Azure AD, Intune, MEM, MDM, Compliance, Defender products, PKI)
  • Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, IoT, Networking, Back-up / Site Recovery, Analytics)
  • Office 365 & Infrastructure (Exchange, OneDrive, Virtualization, Automation, Windows Servers)
  • SharePoint & Development (SharePoint, Power Platform, Databases, Business Intelligence, Software)


Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Experience developing high-level project/work plans

Pay Range
$110,125.00 - $165,187.00
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
