Over the past 20+ years, our platform of capabilities has grown from our core expertise of product engineering to include additive manufacturing, precision machining, NX training, and Teamcenter solutions.

At this time, we are looking for an experienced Senior NX CAD Application Specialist to join us. In this role, you will work directly with our clients solving a wide range of technical issues and identifying opportunities to leverage the powerful automation and design tools in NX. You will be part of a small team that works to constantly push the envelope with NX and Teamcenter. Solution alignment, concept development, solution roll-out, and training are part of this position.

About this Role
As a Senior NX CAD Application Specialist you’ll be responsible for pushing NX's modelling, assemblies, and documentation abilities and enjoy teaching and mentoring our clients in the advanced usage of NX CAD.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of advanced usage of NX CAD tools: modelling, free form modelling, surfacing, reverse engineering, automation, assemblies including WAVE structures and product interface, standards development, custom scripting, etc.
  • Ability to interface with a wide range of users and instruct and mentor them
  • Able to show evidence of past projects where you developed advanced functionality or automation methods in NX CAD

Technical Competencies

  • Up to date NX version experience: NX1899 or newer
  • Experience with NX in a Managed environment (Teamcenter)
  • Experienced in setting up NX Site Standards, custom templates for modeling and drawings; preferably with the use of NXcustom
  • NX Application Launcher, Attribute Mapping, NX Checkmate, and configuring the NX Reuse Library with the Siemens Machinery Library
  • Familiar with NX Routing applications for Electrical, Mechanical and Schematics

  • Effective at time management and prioritization
  • Constantly expanding your own abilities through on-demand learning and skills development
  • Additional expertise: NX Line Designer, NX Physical Architecture Modeler, Mechatronics Concept Designer, NX Join and/or Syncrofit, NX Algorithmic Programming, NX Implicit Modeling, NX Structure Designer & customization, NX PMI with automated authoring,
