Position Purpose:

Eyerly Ball, is seeking a passionate Mental Health Therapist in the Senior Outreach Counseling Department in Des Moines. This is an exciting and central role in the delivery of evidence based therapeutic interventions to homebound seniors in the community. The therapist engages clients through referral and assessment processes and provides psychosocial assessments, individual, couples, and family therapy. In this role, qualified SOC Therapists will work collaboratively to complete treatment plans with clients and together plan for recovery and discharge.

This role enjoys the variety of community based therapy while still a part of dynamic, office based therapy team, available for training and consultation. Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, gerontology, or other related human service field from an accredited program
  • LMSW, LIWS, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent, in good standing with the state of Iowa
  • Gerontoloty experience preferred.
