Leading NPI efforts to develop next generation of solutions for automotive applications

Working with cross-functional teams for new technology research, development, and scale up
-
Interacting with OEM customers to understand customer's requirements, processes and applications

Generating intellectual property including patents and trade secrets
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
-
PhD degree in Science or Engineering
-
Three (3) years of experience with new product development as part of cross-functional team
-
Experience with pressure sensitive adhesives (formulation, process, test methods)
-
Experience in polymer synthesis. Chemistries of interest: acrylics, silicones, epoxies, and urethanes
-
Experience in materials characterization such as rheology, toughness, environmental robustness
Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
