What You'll Do

• Look for alternative approaches to SAP custom development in collaboration with SAP and system integration partners, work with engineering to create solutions at scale. This partnership will focus on the design, implementation, and on-going operations of technology and SAP modules
• As part of a team, be accountable for the solicitation, documentation and acquiring sign off on business requirements from all finance functions (technical accounting, treasury, tax, investments, financial accounting, etc.) for the implementation of a new SAP GL deployment to support financial reporting in accordance with the current accounting standards
• Collaborate internally with finance engineering, transportation and various order systems and drive the creation of service layers for tasks related to those business functions (including order management, inventory, transportation, etc.)
• Manage SAP related financial technology Roadmap requirements, planning and execution
• Work with program management to create including critical path timing, with SAP IT, Financial Technology and Leadership team (includes SIT/UAT/End-to-End Planning and Testing cross-functionally)
• Assist in dashboard/reporting implementations for monitoring of service and parts performance via the extraction of key KPI data from service system
• Determine what functionality is required in terms of design, structure, and configuration, in line with internal guidelines and procedures, and translate requirements into an optimum solution
• Assist in business analysis and project management activities
• Work closely with business partners and technology teams in addressing and remediating integration challenges
• Train, coach and mentor SAP Super users, business process owners and business process leads
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to create training strategy and materials for users of the new GL system and other supporting processes
• Serve as the primary liaison with the SAP development, configuration and quality assurance teams for the implementation and IT testing of the approved design
• Organize the creation and execution of a comprehensive inventory of UAT test cases with a focus on the efficient use of the testers time and coordinating with their other responsibilities

What You'll Need

• Team experience in at least a few discovery and implementation phases of an SAP project, specifically around the GL and FI modules. Functional lead for at least one of the implementation cycles
• 5+ years of overall experience in financial technology or related discipline
• Hands-on experience in business requirements gathering, user acceptance testing and authoring of business-critical documents like requirements documentation
• Ability to master process flows, data flows and data dependencies across systems
• Ability to work through details while keeping the big picture in mind and experience in documenting test cases/test scripts
• Experienced in business analysis activities including impact analysis or root cause analysis
• Familiarity with software SDLC using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills and able to devise solutions to critical issues in a timely manner
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in systems design, development, go live and cutover activities is a plus
