Essential Job Functions:

This will be a full-time position. If you have drive, initiative and a customer-centric approach, thrive on working independently while also being a team-player, have sound working knowledge of all elements of production in all areas of the performing arts, we would love to hear from you!

You will be expected to travel 20 weeks per year. The remaining weeks will be spent working remotely. Your general responsibilities, under the supervision of the Operations Manager, will include:

  • Ability to travel for production support during load-ins and loadouts.
  • Highly organized and efficient. Time management skills are key.
  • Ability to multitask, autonomously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and desire to provide a positive work environment.
  • A quick thinking problem-solver with the ability to find strategic solutions, during time constraints and at times a high-pressured environment.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times, by adhering to all established safety policies and procedures, company policies, and participate in all required safety classes. Accepting all other duties as assigned by the Operations Production Manager.

Job specific requirements:

  • Work directly with the Operations Manager to complete invoicing and documentation for tour services, including tour transfers, flight bookings, and all other expenses related to the tour operations.
  • Attend planning, partner and client meetings, as required.
  • Participate in regular department meetings and follow through on action items.
  • Assist senior management in the development, implementation and monitoring of operational procedures and guidelines for the operations department.
  • Oversee all employee transport and lodging arrangements for multiple tours in the US, UK, EU, and South America.
  • Collaborate with local transport companies for the most cost effective transport to and from the venue during city runs.
  • Create and maintain shuttle schedules for local transport and be the point person between the company and the tours.
  • Be onsite during transfers for any purchasing needs, employee services, local staffing and casting needs during transfers.
  • Accept all other onsite duties as assigned by the Tour Manager.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of production coordination experience.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise good judgment and initiative, while focusing on teamwork.
  • Values and customer service driven.
  • Collaborative, seeking and celebrating the contribution of others.
  • Results oriented and proactive, with the ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Previous experience with event management an asset.
  • Previous HR experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to determine priorities as well as manage multiple, competing priorities successfully while working autonomously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Able to sit at a computer and/or production desk for over eight hours per day; see clearly in low-light situations such as are common backstage and in the venue.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • 10-hour OSHA course completion card a plus.
  • First-aid Certification card a plus.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must have working knowledge of Google platform.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in North America, UK, EU, and South America.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Verification of the right to work in the United States, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I-9 upon hire and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I-9) verifying one’s identity and work authorization.
