PTS Advance is actively searching for a Senior Production Engineer to join our industry-leading medical device client near Charleston, SC.
This rapidly expanding company invests in their team, allowing the Senior Production Engineer to gain valuable hands-on experience in all aspects of the process with the support for internal career progression.
Abbreviated Duties:
- Improve system & equipment in compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
- Offer guidance to injection molding functions.
- Enforce system/equipment reliability improvement efforts.
- Improve molding processes and production assets performance, using current systems.
- Work with Process Owners on improvements to equipment & team practices.
- Lead projects/project management.
- Maintain SOPs.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis & solve equipment issues.
- Review Maintenance Plans. Drive planned maintenance.
- Main point of contact for parts-complaints and with additional off-site team.
- Author/Support documentation related to production, CAPAs, Change Controls, and additional in-house processes.
- Encourage strong stakeholder relations.
Background:
- B.S. in Biomedical Engineering or Biomechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years engineering experience in Maintenance, Production, Process Improvement
- 1+ years of experience with Injection Molding.
- Understanding of Mold Design.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Root Cause Analyses.
- Demonstrates excellent time management.
- Fluent in Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understands industry guidelines i.e., FDA, OSHA, ISO, and additional regulations preferred.
- Able to work independently and with a team.
