Position Summary
The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for designs, develops, tests, debugs, and supports application systems consisting of computer programs, procedures, reports, database objects and documentation. These application systems are primarily developed with the Microsoft.NET Framework toolset. Provides production support and problem resolution for assigned applications.

Writes detailed descriptions of business needs, program specifications and functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications. Provides estimates and plans for accomplished tasks.

Creates documents, flowcharts and diagrams as documentation of applications and systems.

Answers the IT Department Help Line and participates in the 24/7 on-call rotation.

The IT Department is located in Corcoran and weekly site visits can be necessary. The Company has operations in central and southern California. Occasional site visits can be necessary as part of development and support duties.

Core Functions

• Designs, develops and tests application systems. Writes detailed descriptions of program specifications.

Provides estimates and plans for assigned tasks.

• Support application systems through investigation, analysis, and troubleshooting to resolve problems.

Reviews existing systems to understand and support their processes.

• Participates in the 24/7 on-call rotation and provides responses to requests.
• Works to accomplish individual and team goals as well as in support of department and company goals and objectives.

Skills, Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. Relevant work experience can be substituted.
• Excellent development skills.
• Experience working with databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong client and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft TFS.
• Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing system.

Pay: $43.00 - $55.00 per hour
