About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Manual tester to work with our client in their OTT Adaptive Player JavaScript team. This job is located onsite in Englewood, CO.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Understanding the requirements and developing test cases for all product use cases in context of OTT apps on embedded streaming devices
• Execution of test cases across multiple device platforms such as LG, Samsung, Xbox, Comcast, etc
• Be involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, creating reusable test data, test case automation, and test execution
• Manual testing of product functionality across multiple projects.
• Work closely with product owner to ensure user story acceptance criteria is being met by each sprint
• Provide daily reports to Project Leads regarding testing status. Logging defects with all relevant details (debug, network logs, etc) and tracking it till closure
• Analyze test results and reporting to the development team.
• Create detailed process / system documentation

Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience with manual testing in OTT or in the media domain space.
• Experience in performing various types of testing - Functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, white box and black box testing as well as web services
• Being proficient at manual testing, end to end, is important and demonstrated performance writing test scripts, test plans, test execution and defect tracking
• Experience working in a team environment using Agile Scrum
• Ability to write intermediate level database queries in SQL.
• Hands-on experience in using Git based source code repository, associated code commit flow
• Experience in using network debugging tools like Charles/Wireshark/fiddler is preferred
• Exposure to working on Gitlab CICD
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
