Position: Senior Roadway Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL; Nashville, TN; or Indianapolis, IN

Position Responsibilities:
This position will provide an opportunity to work on moderate to complex roadway projects. Engineers working in our Surface Transportation business unit are involved in roadway/highway geometric design, storm drainage, transportation planning, traffic engineering, corridor studies, and safety studies. Our engineers work in collaborative teams of varying sizes across multiple offices depending on the size and scope of the project. CMT staff are committed to finding ideal solutions for the communities in which we live and work.

Position Requirements:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering is required
• Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience with emphasis on roadway/highway geometric design, drainage, transportation planning, or traffic engineering/corridor
• Professional Engineer; an active PE license is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of and experience using MicroStation and Geopak/InRoads software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments on a variety of projects, work in an environment to learn quickly, take initiative, and interact with a variety of people
