Position Overview:
The Sr. Analyst is responsible for assisting in the management of all Retail MM, Pricing & POSDM related activities around multiple brands and product lines. The successful candidate will collaborate with various functions including Brand Pricing Teams, Inventory Control, Finance, and other key business partners to support all aspects of Master data, pricing/promotions and POSDM sales and inventory management.
Job Description:
  • Support day to day operations of SAP Pricing – Promotions, Markdowns and POS Data Management scenarios.
  • Support business processes and identification of system enhancements
  • Document system requirements and validate new system functionalities
  • Trouble shoot technical issues related to pricing processes and downstream integration
  • Support documentation of functional specifications.
  • Support the following functionality: User Service Requests, Incident Management, Control-M scheduler Jobs, Promotion Uploads, Reconcile Reports, POSDM Support
  • On-call availability to address store call outs and support during outage handling required
  • Support during holiday peak period in addressing urgent support call outs
  • Tasks: Pricing Support & Configuration, PO Troubleshooting, Inventory Control, BW/PODSM and ORPOS (Oracle POS)
  • Work with offshore teams to ensure the support, project and enhancement deliverables are met on time with good quality.
Required Skills:
  • Strong working/hands-on experience in configuring Pricing, Master Data, Promotions and Pricing in SAP IS-Retail
  • Industry knowledge in the Retail business is required
  • Able to address critical issues and provide quick solutions to the client to ensure uninterrupted running of business
  • Should have experience in execution of all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, writing technical specifications, system configuration, prototyping application design, build/configuration, testing, production rollout, maintenance, and related training
  • Apply in-depth understanding of business and IT requirements to streamline administration and internal processes, resulting in enhanced automation and operational efficiency
  • Onsite business user “shoulder to shoulder” support. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to prioritize requests based on quick assessment of severity
  • Should be competent to work on enhancements, implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing SAP application
  • Should have progressing skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge, and Technical Solution Design
  • Ability to effectively communicate with users and cross-functional teams to deliver superior business outcomes
  • Overall understanding of integration with the following inbound/outbound systems: e-Com, Merchandising, Logistics and Distribution, Finance, Store Systems and Sourcing
  • Work independently in an international environment
  • Collaboration / team player Follow up / results orientation
Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge of Control-M Job Scheduling tool a big plus
  • Experience in XML, IDOC handling
  • Experience working on SAP Archiving is a plus.
  • Experience working on S/4 HANA Implementations is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent major preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP experience post bachelor’s degree
  • Certification in SAP SD , MM or IS-Retail module is preferred.
The target salary for this role is: $105,000 - $125,000
Actual compensation within that range is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and other job-related factors.
