Job description
Our team is looking for a Senior Systems software engineer, with C++ and Python scripting experience.
As a Senior Systems software engineer, you will collaborate and work with network architects to simulate real world networks using simulation platforms such as NS3, writing scripts in C++ or Python. You will need to be able to define the simulation features, design data structures and algorithms and tie it all together.
⁃ Architect, design and manage the development of simulation plans
⁃ Develop and maintain simulations using C++ and Python
⁃ Review and contribute to functional and design specifications.
⁃ Provide technical leadership across features, projects and tools.
⁃ Working knowledge of Networking Concepts
⁃ Experience with NS3 tool is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
This is primarily a remote role with occasional onsite work in Maryland so someone must live nearby to allow for commuting as needed.

Experience:
- Python Scripting: 5 years (Required)
- C++: 5 years (Required)
- Computer networking: 2 years (Preferred)
- NS3 Tool: 1 year (Preferred)
