Custom Computer Specialists is looking for a Senior Technician to join our Project/ Technical Services team! This person will have a broad range of duties from technical project lead, systems administration, phone and desk-side support, junior technician development, ad-hoc reporting, technology/tool/solution research and analysis, level I, II, III and VIP support. Same site everyday in Framingham MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide hands-on and/or telephone technical support to client end users
• Provide resolution and assistance to Windows X related problems
• Network access troubleshooting and repair. Some administration of network devices
• Diagnosis and removal of malware (viruses, spyware, etc.)
• Active Directory maintenance and administration
• Install and repair faulty or damaged operating system software
• Project related roles including initiation, planning, management, and execution/documentation
• Support and deploy various Operating Systems (Windows, Mac, Chromebook) related problems
• Provide resolution and assistance to standard supported applications: MS Office, Browser programs, Antivirus and other supported proprietary applications and systems
• Document and escalate call tickets to related IT groups for further support

QUALIFICATIONS

• A+ certification (preferred)
• CCNA (preferred)
• Knowledgeable on software installations
• 3-5 years’ experience in hardware and software support
• Experience with Microsoft Server and Active Directory
• Experience with TCP/IP based networks
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems: Windows10
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and G-Suite
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
