Senior Vice President of Community Health Centers in Massachusetts

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced executive to join Harbor Health Services Inc. as Senior Vice President of Community Health Centers in Eastern Massachusetts!

The Position

• The Senior Vice President of Community Health Centers is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the health centers, ensuring that all services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will oversee approximately 300 FTEs.
• This individual will be responsible for leading the direction, strategic plan and overall growth of the organization’s community health centers. Efforts include improving performance under accountable care contracts, achieving "Best Place to Work" designation, expanding facilities and staffing to meet patient and revenue growth goals, and developing a collaborative relationship with Harbor’s PACE program.
• The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial, growth oriented, visible leader with excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
• Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare management and leadership, with a strong preference for experience in the FQHC setting.

• Harbor provides medical, behavioral health, dental, and support services to more than 30,000 patients in Boston, the South Shore, and Cape Cod.
• Harbor Health operates five community health centers, including Geiger Gibson Community Health Center – the first community health center in the U.S., founded in 1965!
• In addition, Harbor Health operates two Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, a program that allows frail elders to live in their homes and communities, as well as the Dorchester South/South Boston Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program.
• Harbor Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center and is a ‘‘deemed” facility under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). The FTCA provides medical malpractice coverage to all deemed facilities and its staff.
