Responsibilities
System High is seeking a Senior-level Sensors Systems Engineer whose primary function will be to assist a program manager with concept development, program analysis, budget tracking, schedule and progress performance reports and briefs and attend decision meetings to meet program goals supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs) within the Department of Defense (DOD), Headquarters United States Air Force. This position will be located in the Washington DC area.
Acts as Chief/Lead Engineer for RF engineers supporting 80% engineering efforts and 20% program management efforts.
Qualifications**
Required:
- Excellent communication skills required to brief senior level executive leadership
- Special Access Program (SAP) experience
Desired:
- DAWIA Level II Certification (Program Management, Engineering, Test).
- DAWIA Level III Certification
Education Requirements:
BS Engineering (any) with Technical Masters; 15+ years professional experience; 8+ years Sensor engineering experience and 8+ years program management or program support.
Clearance Requirements:
Current TS (SCI & SAP eligibility required); an active TS/SCI clearance is desired. Subject to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
Travel Requirements:
When supporting an integrated product teams travel may be required up to 25% of support time.
