Server Assistant

A new Wasilla area Steakhouse is looking for a motivated, hardworking and positive individual to join our team. Must be fast on their feet and possess the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations. As a host/busser, you can expect to work closely with the service staff, kitchen staff, and the bar staff to ensure a positive dining experience for all our guests.

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Assist servers in pre-bussing tables while dining

• Clear and wipe tables after guests have left

• Stock glassware, rollups, and appetizer plates

• Water tables as necessary

• Polish silverware

• Assist in running food and other server needs

• Help to maintain a clean and tidy restaurant

Qualifications:

• Must have weekends and evenings available

• Able to meet the physical demands of working in a busy/loud restaurant

• Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail

• Enjoys and works well being part of a team

• Possess positive and effective communication skills

• Strong work ethic & professional, upbeat attitude

• At least 2 years of restaurant experience is preferred
