JOB SUMMARY & EXPECTATIONS

The Server is responsible for providing quality service to Crab Station’s guests including greeting, conveying a positive image, and facilitating the guest’s overall dining experience. This position is also responsible for the timely delivery of both food and drinks to guests. The Server is the final check on the quality of food and drink before delivery and ensures uncompromising guest satisfaction. The Server is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas at all times. The Server is also responsible for answering the phone (if a host is not present), drink refills, bussing and resetting tables, and being fully knowledgeable on Crab
Station’s food and beverage. This position is also responsible for assisting other team members whenever necessary.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warmly greet guests and provide food and beverage information while assisting and guiding guests with their decisions.
• Take and fulfill food and beverage orders, facilitate the overall guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of drink preparation and creation.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly.
• Maintain adequate product and supply levels in service areas to ensure that guest demand is met effectively and efficiently.
• Answer the phone and address a variety of caller issues and inquiries including (but not limited to the) menu, hours of operation, restaurant location, entertainment information, and job inquiries.
• Ensure that all quality standards and practices are followed throughout the operation.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the restaurant including tables, floor, countertops, service areas, and restrooms.
• Maintain knowledge of Crab Station products, specials, pricing, standards, and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities related to the position and as required by the operation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a server in a full service casual, high-volume environment
• Works with a sense of urgency will be efficient and maintain strict adherence to quality standards of service
• An exemplary customer-centric attitude
• Strong communication skills including verbal and written
• Able to multi-task and effectively manage adversity and effectively manage a stressful situation
• Able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the job
• Ability to obtain and maintain both food handler and TABC certification cards
• MUST BE 18+ OR OLDER

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $25.00 per hour
