Ray Skillman Ford & Southside Hyundai is growing and we are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Service Advisor to expand our amazing service team! We offer a competitive commission based pay plan! (50k-90k/year) The Service Advisor role is to be the liaison between customers and the auto technicians who work on their vehicle.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• You will need to be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service
• Properly and promptly meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
• Draft repair orders to the technicians based on meetings with our customers
• Prepares complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and updating customers
• Work with service technicians and customers to order needed parts and stay updated on order status to schedule follow up once the parts have arrived.
• Reconciling the customers final invoice with the work performed on the repair order

Qualifications

• Prior service advisor or service writer experience preferred
• Possess Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
• Bring a positive, upbeat attitude to this role and be completely comfortable upselling customers
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills to ensure client satisfaction
• Must have the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms
• Ability to evolve and adapt to changing business needs
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
