SERVICE COORDINATOR-JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a meticulous, detail-oriented Service Coordinator to work with our customers and service technicians, schedule service appointments, order parts and ensure receipt. The Service Coordinator’s responsibilities will include advocating for the customers concerns to provide an exceptional service experience.

To be successful as a service coordinator, you should be service-oriented with excellent organizational and record keeping skills. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to be a team player and deal with customers concerns to ensure they are taking care of as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The Service Coordinator will work to ensure quality assurance is met within the service department.

Responsibilities for Service Coordinator

  • Answer calls, assess customer issues & schedule appropriate technician
  • Ensure every customer is given the necessary services and follow up to fill their service needs
  • Develop & maintain good relationships with customers and have ability to maintain patience under stressful circumstances
  • Respond to email inquiries in the office
  • Order parts from manufacturer for service tickets submitted by techs
  • Manage inventory to ensure stock is maintained for high use items
  • Collect money and close service tickets
  • Process warranty parts and labor to ensure proper reimbursement from manufacturer
  • Follow up on parts orders with manufactures to ensure timely delivery
  • Follow up with customers regularly to assess and ensure satisfaction.
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues with customers to ensure exceptional experience.
  • Work with management to identify potential gaps in policies and procedures and provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications for Service Coordinator

  • 1-3 years of service coordinator experience or related customer service experience required
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • Experience with a service scheduling software preferred, but open to learning new systems
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic, punctual and desire to be the team leader.
  • Good organizational skills
  • The ability to work well with service team under deadlines & pressure situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving & multitasking skills
  • Staying up to date with services, policies, and regulations.
  • Strong record keeping and analytical skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Scottsdale, AZ 85260: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
