If you are a Service Support Associate professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! You will be integral to our service delivery. The Service Support Associate will be responsible for providing timely delivery of critical repair information and technical support. The successful candidate will support requests for Emerson intellectual property and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidance. You will administer execution of warranty repair work conducted by the PSP’s on behalf of Emerson and serve as a liaison between Emerson’s subject matter experts and our providers. This role reports to the PSP Service Support Manager as part of the North American Service Management Organization (SMO). This role can be based out of Marshalltown, Iowa, Gonzales, Louisiana, Pasadena, Texas or Tucker, Georgia. Candidates may be considered in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada) as well.

As a Service Support Associate, you will:
  • Cultivate positive and effective working relationships with PSPs across North America
  • Serve as intermediary between Engineering and PSPs
  • Be responsible for customer experience and serve as the primary contact for all PSPs in relationship to repair solutions, intellectual property sharing and audit
  • Ensure information protection compliance
  • Monitor system tools of the PSP Technical Help Desk and delivers timely, accurate information to ensure repairs meet OEM requirements and customer expectations
  • Communicate regularly to partners and understand commitment to goals, initiatives, and directives
  • Provide technical support for Service teams in Customer Support, Quotation of parts, and Operations
  • Engage in and maintain a best-in-class quality and safety culture within the network
  • Support and identify continuous improvement projects and initiatives
  • Resolve or collaborate to address issues using technical knowledge and skill, internal resources and critical thinking

Required Education, Experience & Skills:
  • Associate’s Degree in a technical or related field
  • 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic understanding of part drawings and technical documents
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Hard-working, proactive, dependable, and accountable
  • Tech savvy and able to think critically and problem solve in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the US
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Knowledge of valve manufacturing standards and best practices
  • Basic knowledge of Fisher products, with intimate knowledge of specific product lines
  • Hands-on machining or fabrication experience
  • Engineering, Manufacturing or Service experience
  • Knowledge of machining theory, and how it applies to valve repair
