Title: Services Coordinator – Quality and Regulatory Compliance

Starting Salary: $51,163

Job Summary:

As part of the Quality Improvement and Regulatory Compliance Team, the Services Coordinator works collaboratively with OCHN staff to ensure that the OCHN NCQA Accreditation work plan is implemented. In coordination with team members, prepares reports on organizational readiness for accreditation reviews and conducts follow up as required. Revises and develops processes as needed to assist assigned staff in preparing documentation for accreditation and other external reviews.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor NCQA workplan objectives for entire organization
  • Work collaboratively with assigned OCHN staff to ensure that required documents, reports and materials are completed to support compliance with NCQA standards
  • Conduct follow up with staff as required to ensure NCQA deliverables are completed timely
  • Coordinate with assigned staff to compile, review and assess proof documents for accreditation review
  • Enforce work deadlines for deliverables as applicable to accreditation standards
  • Assist with preparation and completion of processes to ensure compliance with other external review requirements
  • Provide progress reports on accreditation readiness to supervisor and OCHN management utilizing Excel and other reporting software
  • Assist with performing monitoring and oversight activities of OCHN provider network as requested
  • Participate in workgroups and committees as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline required.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

  • None

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in human services administration, contract management, or related area, preferably in the public sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and quality monitoring.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Knowledge of public mental health service delivery systems in Oakland County.

Competencies/Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be able to articulate a complex service system while establishing positive rapport with individuals in need.
  • Knowledge of OCHN provider network.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant software programs.
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills both in direct personal interactions and on the telephone.
  • Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of relatively complex assignments accurately and timely.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills needed to establish and follow office procedures and maintain files and records.
  • Understanding of Michigan Mental Health Code and recipient rights policies.

  • Must have available means of transportation to and from OCHN and for required offsite meetings or site visits.
  • Must be available for meetings and events which may occur outside of standard office hours.
