We are currently looking for an experienced Machine Adjuster/Set Up Operators. You will be adjusting machines, set-up orders, operate and perform daily maintenance and minor repairs on production envelope folding machines. In addition to using your mechanical abilities on a daily basis, you will have the opportunity to earn up to 10 DAYS of PAID VACATION in your 1st year of employment as well as PAY RAISES of up to $.60 at 30 DAYS and then EVERY 90 DAYS until top rate is reached. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Examines work order to determine specifications and sample verification.
- Sets up machine per sample and order jacket specifications.
- Inspects product quality according to quality guidelines.
- Maintains accurate counts of envelopes to boxes, cartons, and skids.
- Adjusts machine and packs envelopes uniformly and neatly, keeping up with the machine speed.
- Checks order properly throughout the course of production to ensure accurate labeling, printing, and packaging of product.
- Assists with removing paper jams and preventative maintenance when scheduled.
- Transports finished goods to appropriate area.
- Ability to fill in as the Material Handler.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and interpret ruler measurements.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Regularly required to stand during an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
