Microsoft SharePoint Administrator - Full Time Role

Hybrid/New York City, NY Candidate Must reside in the NYC metropolitan area.

Seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator who will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining SharePoint environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Plan, install, configure, and deploy SharePoint environments.
  • Manage the migration from SharePoint 2019 on-prem to SharePoint Online.
  • Customize SharePoint capabilities to meet business requirements.
  • Monitor SharePoint performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to SharePoint sites and data.
  • Implement and maintain SharePoint security and backup/restore strategies.
  • Stay current with new features and functionalities of SharePoint and related technologies.

SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2019.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint security and authentication methods.
  • Experience with custom development and implementation of SharePoint solutions.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and Microsoft Azure is a plus.
