Due to growth, we are currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate in the Asheville, NC area.

In this key position as Shipping & Receiving Associate you will process all inbound and outbound products as instructed by the Warehouse Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pull and stage orders for the Counter and Will Call customers
• Ensure proper rotation of stock
• Work back stock when all new inbound freight has been put away
• Load/unload merchandise from freight vehicles
• Track product history and location using RF gun
• Unpack material from delivery vehicles and place at appropriate location
• Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Notifies supervisor of any receiving issues
• Load merchandise/orders on freight vehicles
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills

• Experience in distribution and/or plumbing material preferred
• Ability to be flexible on start time
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations
• Works well with others
• Effective communicator

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to load and unload packages with and without hand-truck or pallet jack in various types of weather.
