Shipping Clerk - 1st Shift

Tailored Label Products, a top supplier of customized labels, has nationwide recognition as a next generation manufacturing facility with innovative equipment and processes. With over thirty years in business, TLP uses its creativity to custom engineer and provide unique, performance label products and specialized adhesive solutions.

The Shipping Clerk position requires the ability to work both independently and on a team, in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have the required skills and experience as well as strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Box and ship finished product on time and in orderly fashion including internationally
• Keep dock, packaging area, and finished goods storage area organized and clear in compliance with 6S practices
• Maintain carrier records and resource relationships
• Manage packaging supply materials
• Other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:

• Strong computer/shipping software knowledge
• Strict attention to detail
• Can lift up to 50 pounds with ease.
• Reliable and motivated
• Can work individually as well as on a team.
• Previous Inventory control and international shipping experience is a plus, but not necessary
