Shipping & Receiving Warehouse
Job description
Statewide Safety Systems is seeking a highly motivated individual, with shipping & receiving experience. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to perform all tasks efficiently. Assist shipping & receiving driver and customers by operating a forklift to load or unload products onto vehicles. Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Ideal candidate will have experience in time-management, organization, and MS Outlook. Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
The ideal candidates must meet the following expectations:
- Minimum 1-year warehouse experience
- Forklift experience preferred, but not required
- Basic computer software (Microsoft Excel, Work & Outlook) knowledge required
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends
- Ability to multi-task
- Time-Management
- Maintain records of all products shipped and received
- Coordinate, verify and assist the Purchasing Department with damaged or missing items from shipment
- Prepare all orders to be shipped or delivered to customers or other branch locations
- Assist customers with loading or unloading products purchased or rental items being returned
- Create price tags to label all items received
- Assist the Store Manger with restocking items in the Retail Store
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment under all circumstances
Pay will be dependent on experience
