We are seeking a Shipping / Receiving Worker that has experience working in a warehouse to assist in the Shipping / Receiving Department, manage incoming and outgoing orders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of integrity, and an aptitude for quickly learning new processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage domestic and international shipping & receiving goods/materials and checking in merchandise.
  • Printing packing slips, pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
  • Stage large orders on pallet.
  • Schedule freight pick up
  • Tracking and coordinating the receipt of goods and materials, ensuring proper handling and storage requirements.
  • Receive materials, quality check, match against and close out PO
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Operate a forklift, and pallet jack, as needed.
  • Schedule international orders; draft necessary docments for customs.
  • Contribute to department and company goals by consistently achieving the organization's needs.
  • Occasionally drive company van to drop off/pick up parts with vendor or customer.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required. Previous experience working in international shipping is a plus.
  • UPS and FedEx labeling experience.
  • Experience working in a shipping/receiving environment.
  • Experience conducting inventory cycle counts.
  • Aerospace Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/MRP system a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience reading and understanding bills of lading.
  • Must have general PC skills including email, Internet and data entry.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment working independently with little or no direction.
  • Must have valid drivers’ license in good standing.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
