Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging and establishing rapport with customers while informing them about new product introductions and monthly promotions
• Learn State Beauty Supply’s brand offering to maximize showroom sales by effectively sharing product knowledge and make recommendation of products to best meet the customer’s needs
• Achieve personal goals and aid in meeting showroom goals
• Help process incoming shipments by checking in inventory and stocking of the showroom
• Process customer transactions through the point- of- sale system
• Educate customers about our on-site education offerings
• Engage customers both in the showroom and through social media
• Assist in maintaining a clean, neat and organized showroom

Experience:

• Retail experience is a plus but not required
• Salon/Spa experience is a plus but not required
• Customer Service experience or the desire to provide exceptional customer service is required
• Sales experience is a plus
• Merchandising experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Must be willing to follow company policies
• Must be a good communicator and enjoy engaging customers
• Must be passionate about retail and do well in a creative and fast paced workspace
• Must be able to lift 45 pounds
• Must believe and live daily the TEAM concept: be outgoing, caring, pleasant, and assertive

Requirements

· Must have own reliable transportation as we sometimes move between locations during the workday. Also, closers are required to drop the nightly deposit at the bank

· Must be interested in or passionate about the professional beauty industry

· Exceptional communication skills

· Starting Pay for Part Time $12.00 per hour and Full Time $13.00 per hour
