JOB DESCRIPTON

PURPOSE

Shred drivers have a route each day that consists of both regularly scheduled clients and purge or “one-time” pickups. The driver plans their route each day, selecting the route order based on both the most efficient route and time/appointment requirements as noted by the supervisor.

ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Essential functions:

• Put away and pull client requests - boxes/files
• Meet department productivity and quality standards.
• Move records from one location to another utilizing all company security measures.

Qualifications:

• Valid CLASS E or Class B CDL with a clean MVR and clean background check.
• High School Diploma minimum
• Physically able to perform labor intensive tasks every day. (Continuous lifting of 40-50 lb. boxes)
• Work well under time constraints and productivity requirements.
• Willing to follow established procedures yet, be creative to offer suggestions for improvements.
• Ability to use handheld device, electric pickers, drive van and box truck.
• Good knowledge of city streets or able to read city map.
• Flexibility to accept different work hours and assignments.
• Able to work overtime and available around the clock.
• Strong customer service background
