Bee Tutored is currently seeking part-time academic tutors for all subjects and test prep areas. Ideal candidates are professional, responsive, empathic, and passionate about teaching. MUST BE WILLING TO TUTOR IN PERSON.

Company Headquarters Location: Bee Tutored, established in 2008, is a premier boutique private tutoring company based in New York City.

Location: We offer K-12 individual at-home tutoring in Brooklyn and Manhattan, group classes in our classroom, and partner with schools to offer test prep classes.

Duties and responsibilities

We provide individualized instruction for students K-12 in a variety of subjects.

• utilize Bee Tutored curriculum to instruct students in a classroom setting on SHSAT test prep
• provide feedback from each session to ensure student progress
• opportunity also available for K-12 individual at-home tutoring, general academic support, test prep and support for parents navigating admission processes

Qualifications

Please ONLY APPLY if you:

• have a strong education background with 2+ years of classroom teaching experience
• have a strong background tutoring various general academic subjects
• have strong tutoring background with high school admission exams such as SHSAT/ISEE/TACHS/Regents and New York State Tests
• can travel to Brooklyn or Manhattan
• plus if you are a certified teacher
• are prepared to take a mini-assessment or demonstrate your skills

All qualifications must comply with provincial human rights legislation.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
