We are working with a leading IT solutions organization seeking Site Reliability Engineers / Automation Engineers to join their growing team.
You will play a key role in designing and supporting systems and tools within the Private Cloud Platform. You will be responsible for the management, architecture, and configuration of the VMware infrastructure and the development and support of all automation.

We are working with a leading IT solutions organization seeking Site Reliability Engineers / Automation Engineers to join their growing team.
You will play a key role in designing and supporting systems and tools within the Private Cloud Platform. You will be responsible for the management, architecture, and configuration of the VMware infrastructure and the development and support of all automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop highly automated infrastructure systems and tools
- Partner with Product Management to execute on a roadmap of services and platforms
- Act as an operations and sales escalation point for service exceptions
- Assist with KPI development and execution of continual improvement processes for services your team owns
- Strong project management and project implementation experience. Able to gather requirements, design, plan, coordinate, prioritize, and implement complex technical projects
- Maintain automation requests and features backlog
- Mentor others in your area of expertise
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience supporting and automating Private Cloud Platforms, preferably in data center environment
- Strong experience with VMware Products such as vSphere / vCenter, vRealize Operations, vRealize Log Insight, Aria Operations, etc.
- Experience with automation system design, implementation, and maintenance using Python, Terraform & Ansible
- Networking experience and experience with Arista and Cisco devices
- Intermediate-level scripting skills in Python and the ability to be flexible with less familiar languages
- Experience with infrastructure and configuration management tools including Terraform and Ansible
- Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure building blocks
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Experience with using CI/CD systems, version control systems, and SDLC thought processes
- Experience with Container orchestration services such as Docker & Kubernetes
- Industry Certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, LFCE, CCNA, VCP, CISSP
