Job description
Bonacio Construction is seeking Full Time Commercial Site Superintendent(s) to grow our team of dedicated construction professionals. Our current jobsites are in the Saratoga to Schroon Lake, NY areas. If you are looking for a fast-paced, unique work environment that will keep you busy all year long, this could be the position for you.
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors
- Inspect jobs on a continual basis to ensure quality assurance and highest level of craftmanship
- Monitor job progress and costs against budgets
- Ensure all schedules run smoothly, all jobs are completed on schedule, and all paperwork is processed in a timely manner (i.e., timecards, field logs, Site Meeting minutes / notes)
- Project Coordination with Project Manager
- Communicate positively, clearly, and firmly with tradesmen, office, and project owners
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 Years of hands-on construction experience
- Ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Professionalism in dealing with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, Project Owners, and co-workers
- Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
- Ability to plan and organize activities to stay on top of the project’s flow
- Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- Organized
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License
