We’re seeking a seasoned SIU Investigator to help us settle losses quickly and efficiently while exceeding customer expectations along the way.

You’ll utilize cutting-edge tools for fraud detection and investigation, while working with our Data Science team on creating processes and fraud deterrence tools.

What you’ll do

• Assist Claims Advocates in proper investigations as it pertains to suspicious indicators
• Serve as a liaison between NICB & local and federal law enforcement agencies
• Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with Lemonade Integral Staff
• Assist in the reporting, analysis, and investigation of policies suspected of fraud related to claims and underwriting
• Attend and provide essential fraud awareness training
• Prepare and submit initial and follow-up reports detailing all findings and actions taken on suspicious claims

What you’ll need

• 2+ years of investigative claims experience, with excellent customer focus (and experience working with SIU)
• Working knowledge of investigative techniques for High Value Theft, Fire, Water and Weather losses
• Ability to analyze data, plan case strategy, prepare case reports, and partner with Claims team members to prove or rule out suspect factors on property losses
• Tech savvy and comfortable with advanced investigative tools (ISO, Accurint, TLO, etc.)
• Experience with property dwelling estimating
• Able to create and implement investigative processes
• Ability to work in an office environment as needed
