Job description
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for procuring and distributing medications per physician request, pharmacist request or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols and maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures
What You Need to Be Successful:
High School Diploma or GED (required) 2 year
Associate's Degree (preferred)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Pharmacy Technician National Certification (preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire) Pharmacy Technician Registration in Maryland (required)
2- 4 years Hospital Based Pharmacy (preferred)
