Job description
The Slot Technical Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day engineering support during the installation and post installation, technical support of Seneca Territory Gaming Corporation’s slot systems, including all associated hardware. Coordinate the interaction with product trainers and installation coordinators to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist in managing engineering support for customer accounts. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Position Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- Electronics Engineering Diploma.
- Three (3) years’ experience in a technical management capacity within the casino industry.
- Four (4) or more years of recent and related experience installing, servicing, adjusting and repairing slot and other coin operated machines preferably in a gaming environment.
- Demonstrated experience providing training, technical direction and guidance to co-workers.
- Ability to troubleshoot computer, communication systems, and associated electronic equipment.
Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

- Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- The Employee must frequently lift and/or move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
