Part Time positionSalary Range: $11.00hr - $16.00hr
Minimum of 1 year experience in the food service industry preferred. We need a person who is knowledgeable about the plant based lifestyle.
We are Hiring Immediately, hours will range from Monday - Friday between 7:30AM - 8:30PM. We have two shifts between those hours. You will work one of those shifts based on availability. There will be weekends too.
Who we are We are SpaJuiceBar a cold-pressed juicery in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We cold press fresh fruit and vegetable juices and we create delicious smoothies and raw plant based food at our location. Everything we produce is handcrafted and prepared at our retail location. We promote a healthy lifestyle.
The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, a willingness to work hard and be a part of a team. We need a strong individual who will be on time and able to work weekends too. You must be punctual and have a willingness to learn the healthy lifestyle we advocate. An outgoing personality is so important for this position, no shyness please.
Position: We are looking for a Smoothie Barista. This person is engaging and a great communicator. A person who is willing to learn the healthy lifestyle we promote. Along with those qualities you will deliver superior customer service and be apart of a great team. You will make smoothies and understand all of our systems. SpaJuiceBar is looking for a pro-active team member who wants to grow with our company.

Your Responsibilities: Customer Service and Accountability
- Greets every customer with a friendly smile and positive attitude
- Is honest and promotes the values and mission of SpaJuiceBar
- Accurately processes transactions through the POS
- Provides excellent customer service and builds rapport with customers by learning their names and favorite beverages
- Responds appropriately to customer concerns
- Adheres to company dress code
- Respects peers and management by being on time for their scheduled shift and finding someone to cover shifts when they are unable to work
- Adheres to appropriate standards of behavior in the workplace and to behaviors outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Ensures accountability of company funds and inventory
- Produces superior product presentation
- Educates customers on our products and is knowledgeable of the raw lifestyle
- Responsible for knowing the juice, food and smoothie menu and how to make each item
- Will make smoothie items
- Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Adheres to all Company recipes and measurements • Responsible for maintaining and cleaning the wheatgrass machine and thoroughly cleaning the blender at end of each business day
- Keep work area clean and organized so that co-workers and management can locate resources and products as needed
- Communicates with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve the quality of our business and customer service
- Maintains continuous communication with co-workers during peak business hours
- Contributes to a positive work environment
- Assists in completing the opening and closing checklist
- Makes an effort to improve job skills, knowledge and education
- Initiates suggestive selling and sampling of products
- Does what needs to be done when asked
