Overview

KeyLogic is currently searching for an SOC Analyst II to support one of our Department of Energy contracts in the Albuquerque, NM area.

Currently, this position is onsite in Albuquerque. The selected candidate must be able to reliably commute or be open to relocating to the Albuquerque area. If offered the position, a government background investigation would be required for a security clearance. Since this position falls under the Department of Energy, the clearance does require exclusive US Citizenship (i.e., no dual citizenship).

This position will be the Swing-Shift 3:30 pm - 12:00 am to support a major national laboratory. You will provide environmental safety walk-throughs, detect events from cyber threats and monitor batch processing workflows. You will work to blend IT management tools to lead in overall services management. You will blend IT Service Management tools and best-practice ITIL processes to lead improvements in IT Service Management. You will work in an environment that includes automated discovery, performance and availability monitoring, enterprise and mission testing, a central tool suite with a service asset repository that supports all ITSM processes, including mature service catalog, request fulfillment, incident management, knowledge management, problem management, change management, service asset and configuration management, enterprise logging, and event management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Environmental Safety Walk-throughs SOC Analysis Services
• Provide event, warning, alert, and alarm processing and management. Coordinate resolution of the event, warning, alert, and alarm messages Network Intrusion Detection Services.
• Detect events collected by the cyber enterprise systems across the computing environments including all corporate networks and corporate telephone
• Monitor batch processing job flows on two corporate networks and monitor that requested batch completion times are met, escalate when required. Provide prompt and accurate response to error notifications (Alerts)
• Administer and support on-premises private cloud platform to include patching, configuration, service and incident fulfillment, and capacity management. Maintains the integrity of servers and systems to meet established requirements for service levels, disaster recovery, and business.
• Provide IT project and service management support & space coordinator space/facilities management

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• High School Diploma with 3 years’ experience

Desired Skills:

• Networking experience with CISCO, Brocade, Juniper
• Experience with BMC Truesight
• ITIL Certification
• Active DOE “L” or “Q” clearance

Pay: $47,000.00 - $60,200.00 per year

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
