PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

???????Performs core functions of the Security Operations Center (SOC); monitor and remediate intrusion alarms, dispatch law enforcement /first responders to security incidents, answer and prioritize incoming emergency and routine security event calls, log and manage status of site intrusion systems. Write incident reports documenting security incidents, make notifications and maintain shift activity logs. Identify security system issues, create service requests for system repairs, and validate corrective maintenance. Perform activity specific actions as detailed in the SOC Policies and Procedures Manual, adhere to compliance requirements, and perform regulatory procedures. SOC Operator positions is fixed shift, 24/7.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Monitor and remediate intrusion detection alarms (40%)
• Answers, Prioritize, and respond to telephonic security incidents report(20%)
• Submit service requests for corrective maintenance of security systems, perform service ticket validation. (10%)
• Perform and document system checks and video tours (10%)
• Write and submit security incident reports (5%)
• Manage and log site entry/exit system disarm events (5%)
• Perform forensic investigation support of video and access control records (5%)
• Perform collateral administrative SOC task as requested (5%)

JOB SCOPE

???????Enables SOC to achieve core objectives protecting Constellation critical infrastructure, assets, and personnel through 24/7 monitoring of physical security intrusion detections systems, access controls, and security call center reporting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years work experience
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to write grammatically correct and stylistically appropriate business communications. Ability to work effectively under high-stress situations, to rapidly assess and respond to life safety and security incidents.
• Core Business Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of working with Business structure
• Knowledge of PC/Desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• 24/7 Availability

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• AA Degree
• Prior Security System, Security Operations Center or Call Center experience
• Demonstrated proficiency on the following systems: CCure 9000E, ExacgVision, Everbridge and any other systems used by SOC at the time of application
• Knowledge of NERC CIP Program

Salary Range: $24.60 - $27.40 per hour
