Blinds To Go is seeking a creative Entry level Social Media Associate with experience in developing Social Media posts and managing all elements of social: including by platform, copywriting, and creative development. This person should be strong in brainstorming campaigns, creating social media posts and ongoing optimization of our social presence.

Key Responsibilities:

· Research industry and brainstorm campaigns to update posts including relevant keywords for search optimization.

· Collaborate closely with our in-house creative team to create cohesive, cross-functional messaging for social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

· Manage the day-to-day execution of social media strategy, including scheduling, posting and community managing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, You Tube and other emerging platforms.

· Increase our on-line presence and broaden our audience.

· Stay up to date with local influencers, brands and events.

· Ability to discuss trends and collaborate with our in-house team to create attention grabbing, compelling Instagram stories, Facebook live streams using influencers to grow our followers and increase leads.

What We’re Looking for:

· Excellent copywriter with proven ability to be concise, yet impactful in Brand voice.

· Creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to drive and influence decisions.

· Knowledge of the social landscape with a passion for current trends and creating fresh ideas.

· Solid grasp of best practices for Instagram, Facebook and other social media channels

· 3+ years of experience in social media or similar role working with popular social media platforms.

· High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

· Excellent communication, organizational and management skills to be able to express our company’s views creatively.

· Proven track record preferably with retail company or similar background.
