Blue Ocean Media is in search of an experienced and ambitious Social Media Manager!
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing an organic social media presence, identifying ways to reach target customers, creating social media strategies and objectives, and measuring those strategies and objectives with analytics data.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms, their respective audiences, and how each platform can be utilized by a business. This position will be responsible for developing a social media strategy for clients including campaigns and content. You will own the process for setting and managing key performance indicators for social media campaigns that drive growth, adoption, utilization, brand, and promotion.

Responsibilities*

• Manage and implement organic social media campaigns and day-to-day activities
• Develop relevant content to engage clients’ target audience
• Map out a comprehensive organic social media content plan and calendar, driving strategies that are proven by testing and metrics
• Help create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and written) on social media platforms
• Monitor and measure the impact of social media campaigns; analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results
• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy; stay current with social media tools, measurements, and all things social media management

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience with social media or other marketing content management
• Proven experience of developing and directing content engaging content with rapidly growing brands
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Significant marketing expertise in all major social media platforms
• Experience creating and publishing quality, on-brand social media content across platforms
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects at the same time
