Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to administer the social media accounts for Crypto.com Arena, Microsoft Theater, L.A. LIVE and affiliated events, managing the venues' the social media marketing efforts to achieve overall marketing goals. The manager will drive the social media strategy, content ideation/production and develop paid campaigns to market events, foster brand awareness/engagement, increase website traffic, and maximize sales revenue.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning within the social and digital space (website and email marketing) and experience in developing and implementing highly-successful social media campaigns.

Candidate should be both creative and analytical with the ability track the performance of various initiatives and adapt strategies accordingly. This is the perfect role for someone seeking a highly impactful position in the live entertainment and sports industry.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage all day-to-day social media for Crypto.com Arena, Microsoft Theater, L.A. LIVE and affiliated events, striving to continually make us a leader in the industry by creatively and effectively programming the social media accounts including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. Strategically work with events/brands and partners to creatively manager affiliate brand social accounts as well as utilize social media and digital marketing opportunities to increase ticket sales and brand awareness for each. Responsible for brand building, fan acquisition and retention to grow digital databases/relevant audiences.
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals. Manage and run various brands paid social advertising optimizing digital budgets to market venues and at-risk events/brands.
  • Set specific objectives/KPIs and report on ROI for all social media, email and website initiatives. Set up attribution tracking for digital marketing efforts. Collect and analyze data and track performance of various initiatives and develop/implement changes to improve business results.
  • Lead team brainstorms for content ideation to create and implement social media strategies.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of the monthly content calendar which supports sales objectives and brand initiatives.
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences. Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Curate and manage website content through CMS for venues and affiliate events.

Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):

  • Minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Communications, Public Relations, Social Media or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of Windows Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Photoshop
  • Experienced/well-versed using Facebook/ Twitter/ Instagram/TikTok/YouTube and latest social platforms to promote events and build brands
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Must be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
  • Creative thinking, strong initiative, and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Great work ethic and attitude
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
