This position is to work as the North Region Manager for Community Housing

Under general supervision, develop and implement training and activity program for individuals with developmental disabilities. Provide supervision of instructors and support staff both in the training process and accurate record keeping. Coordinates in-service training. Secures and maintains material, family and community support for the program.

Responsibilities and Duties

Monitors and participates in the development of appropriate training programs for consumers. Maintain consumer records in compliance with agency, CARF, Medicaid Waiver and State Regulations.

Provides a wide range of supervision to instructional and support staff. Plans, organizes and conducts in-service training for instructional staff. Advocates for consumers and their families with the community to facilitate communication and linkages.

Performs a variety of administrative duties associated with operational support, resource management and public relations.

All candidates are subject to criminal background checks, drug screening and motor vehicle check.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Sociology or related field and 2 (two) years experience in the field working with IDD population.

Must posses a Georgia Driver's License with no suspended license in the past 5 years.
