Come join our team at White Oak of Newberry! We are a 146 bed skilled nursing home with rehab services. We are conveniently located beside Newberry County Hospital at 2555 Kinard Street Newberry SC . The Social Services Director will provide overall supervision and oversight to the Social Services Department and will meet the social and/or emotional needs that affect the residents’ ability to achieve their highest practicable psychosocial well being; participates in the development of residents’ comprehensive care plans; follows policies and procedures to provide social services to residents in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field including but not limited to Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology or Gerontology. One year of supervised Social Services experience in a health care setting preferred.
