Pay: $29,000-$33,000 per year

Program: Various Programs have vacancies

• APEX (Within the school system of Harris County)
• Intensive Case Management (Muscogee County)

Hours: Mostly 8am to 5pm. Programs that work with the youth work 11am to 7pm when they are out of school.

Job Description: Under general supervision, performs social services functions at an advanced level to individuals and their families. Must have experience working with persons with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). Depending on the program, duties will vary. Some include: Working with individuals who are mandated to treatment and reporting to court; Working with individuals battling with substance abuse; Working with individuals with developmental disabilities; Going into the community seeking resources for the individuals the company serves. Skills in documentation; communication with individuals, family, and community resources expected. May have to transport individuals.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the area of social science (i.e.: Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.) and at least 1 year of work experience in behavioral health -OR- a High School diploma with 3-5 years of work experience in behavioral health.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with behavioral health experience.
