Position Summary
Overseeing day-to-day operations of research projects. Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment and retention of study participants, interviews, and data entry and analysis; managing staff training trainings; coordination and documentation of project meetings; assisting with project regulatory requirements and project budgets. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with managing relationships with project contractors and consultants and other project responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board.



Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Understanding and knowledge of budget management, organizational and project management skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills; excellent teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
At least 3 years of project management experience working in university settings. A Master’s Degree in a human service profession. Prior experience working on university research projects is preferred but not required.
