OPEN TO THE PUBLIC SOCIAL WORKER I

PT-20 HR/WK

NEW HAVEN JD MARCH 1, 2023

Applications are being accepted for a Social Worker I- Part-time for the New Haven JD. This position will be one of two social workers in a JD. Consults with attorneys toward the legal disposition of criminal cases, by providing diagnostic screening, mitigation and alternative to incarceration plans among other duties.

Qualifications: The successful applicant in accordance with PA 7198, is required to have either a BSW, MSW, or a Doctorate in Social Work. The candidate may be required to possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license

Starting Salary: $29.68 per hour with full State benefits. Progression to Social Worker 2 after completion of two years of service.
