About the role

As a software developer at Sawatch Labs, you'll be responsible for helping build and improve the Sawatch suite of analytic products. You will work closely with all members of the technical/development team and will regularly liaise with the operations/business development side of the house to prioritize upcoming client deliverables.

As well as developing new features across the existing suite of Sawatch products, you will have ownership over, and be responsible for development of new products.

You will also strive to improve overall development team efficiency by building on and improving existing testing, CI/CD and code review procedures, and establishing best-practice standards.

Experience/skills required

• 4-8 years of experience as a software developer;
• Experience working in either Python or React required. Experience working in both highly desirable;
• Experience working with testing frameworks;
• Solid understanding of test-driven development best practices;
• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work autonomously;
• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
• Must have good problem solving and decision-making skills along with the ability to exercise sound judgment.

We have flexible in-person and work from home options at present, based on COVID-19 conditions. The anticipated salary range for this position is 95k to 160k (DOE) with significant equity in the form of options, health benefits (Kaiser Permanente Platinum plus Vision and Dental), flexible hours and 4 weeks PTO per year.

In accordance with Colorado law, the salary range provided is our reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
