Primary Functions:
The primary function of the Software Engineer is to serve as a Full Stack developer with who will be part of an Agile team reporting to our Director of Applications. The Software Engineer will build .NET applications using technologies such as C#, React.js, Redux, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, Docker, Kubernetes, RESTful Web Services, Message Queues and more. The primary responsibility will be to design and develop layers of our applications, coordinating with the team to ensure needs are met.
Basic Qualifications:
A highly effective Software Engineer is passionate about software development, automation and STEM and has a desire to grow both personally and professionally alongside others. The Software Engineer has 3+ years of experience as a developer using:

  • Back-end - C# .NET Framework & .NET Core (Visual Studio & Visual Studio Code IDEs)
  • Front-end - React w/ Typescript
  • DB - MS SQL, CosmosDB
  • Testing - JUnit, FakeItEasy, Jest, xUnit, Puppet, or Playwright
  • Cloud - Azure Function Apps, App Services, Service Bus, EventHub, Container Storage
  • PM & Code Versioning - TFS/Azure DevOps w/ GIT
  • CICD - Azure Pipelines

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with team members and product owners to develop new applications built to serve the business and our customers
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Integrate data storage solutions using Stored Procedures, Entity Framework and more
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and brainstorm solutions to quickly mitigate and address these issues
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science related field or equivalent education and/or experience
