THE JOB:
Giddy is looking for a talented Software Engineer in Test to join our team. This position is a crucial part of the Engineering department, primarily responsible for ensuring Giddy's software runs smoothly and meets both Giddy and client expectations.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Create comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Develop automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify and document bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet Giddy's standard of excellence
- Monitor debugging process results
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies
- Be nice to the other nerds : )
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 8+ years of automated testing
- Experience testing mobile applications
- Experience writing your own automation framework or contributing heavily to one
- Experience testing APIs
- Experience debugging code and application logs
SALARY
The annual gross base salary range is $110k-$160k USD Annual. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
