Work at the heart of the MATLAB language and help the language grow. As a MATLAB Language Software Engineer in Test, you will develop test tools and test suites and conduct hands-on testing of MATLAB language's compilation pipeline from lexing raw code to IR generation. As a member of the cross-functional team, the candidate will participate in a project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release. Candidates with creative problem solving skills will thrive in this position.
This position requires either a basic understanding of compiler technologies or a strong desire to learn the domain.

- Partner with Development teams to represent our customers and make sure our software meets their needs and is fast, accurate and robust
- Leverage your programming knowledge and experience to influence requirements, system design and architecture for new features
- Sharpen your software engineering skills by defining, designing, and developing automated test tooling in MATLAB or C++
- Define and track quality metrics and key performance indicators to spearhead data driven efforts to improve our software
- Knowledge of MATLAB is a plus
- Working knowledge of Compilers is a plus
- Test automation experience is a plus.
- Experience with project management and prioritization
- A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
- Programming experience in C++
- Knowledge of object oriented design
